Are Entrepreneurs scared of failure?
Do you think entrepreneurs are scared of failure? I think its quite a contradictory statement, as entrepreneurs are risk takers and don’t have fears about giving it a go.
In any case, have a look at this BBC news article that says that four in ten would-be entrepreneurs are too scared of failure to do anything about their business idea. There are some interesting statistics in the article and ideas to think about.

I think entrepreneurship and risk aversion are almost mutually exclusive concepts. That’s why a good entrepreneur will secure a good finance guy as soon as he can. He would recognise the gambler in himself and therefore get sound financial guidance from a real conservative, to temper his actions. The other common theme I see in entrepeneurs is that the bigger the gamble they are willing to take the smaller the percentage of their own wealth on the line. It’s very often VC or angel capital that goes on the line for the big kickers.
